6-day Classic Route of the Middle-eastern Line in the South Island of New Zealand

Day 1: Christchurch   Lake Tekapo (3hrs15min, 226km)

Arrive in Christchurch, which is one of the richest British–style cities in the South Pacific. You can enjoy this beautiful garden city. Visit Canterbury Museum, Avon River, Memorial Bridge. Then drive to Lake Tekapo. The beautiful lake Tekapo is known for Green Rock in the Lake, presenting a image of misty green. Day 2: Lake Tekapo  Mount Cook National Park  Crowe (2hrs25min, 169km) - Queenstown (55min, 62km)

After breakfast in the hotel, visit Lake Tekapo's most famous Church of the Good Shepherd. Day 4:  Queenstown   Milford Sound(4hr10min, 291km)  Te Anau( 1hr45min, 121km )

After breakfast, drive to the world’s wonder Milford Sound. The road to Milford Sound is known as you of highland roads with the best wonderful scene in the world. The road each side is covered with the original rainforest of cold temperate zyou in New Zealand, passing through the largest natural grassland Eglinton Valley, Mirror Lake, Knobs Flat, Homer Tunnel of 1.27 km in length, and etc. Milford Sound is a miracle of nature, a deep canyon due to the ice movement and cutting two million years ago. Day 5: Te Anau   Dunedin( 4hr10min, 290km )  Oamaru( 1hr40min, 115km )

After breakfast in the hotel, head for Dunedin known as Edinburgh South. Because the entire city buildings is in the typical Scottish style, the city still retains a rich Scottish atmosphere so far. Upon arrival, visit the beautiful University of Otago, the gingerbread-like train station, the church and the world's steepest street, Baldwin Street, in the world record. Day 6: Oamaru   Christchurch( 3hr30min, 247km )

After breakfast, proceed from Oamaru, along the beautiful eastern coast all the way north and enjoy the picturesque scenery along the way. Arrive Christchurch at noon to return the leased car, and then return by plane, ending 6 days of a pleasant trip to the South and North Island of New Zealand.
